4. Write in the songs playing - in order - for each topic.

So today I found out why it's taking so long for my job to be advertised. The interview is supposed to be next week, but I haven't even applied yet. The Big Boss was going through her calendar for next week and came into our office to ask why there was a reminder for interviews and which ones they were. I mentioned my job and the other one that's going in at the same time, but that the ad wasn't up yet. She asked her secretary to look into it.

Her secretary found all the paperwork underneath a pile of crap on her desk.

I am Not Happy. The forms were supposed to go to personnel six weeks ago. This means it'll be at least a month before I get my contract, if not longer. *sigh*

The whole place is beginning to piss me off. I'm starting to remember why I left the first time...

Job hunt may be on the horizon. My old job (from six years ago) is being re-advertised and even that looked tempting this week. Mind-numbing, tedious work, but very little stress for the same pay. It's only a temp contract until March though, so I'd be no better off in terms of security.

It's not that I don't like my actual job, I just feel like I'm being fucked around, like they're taking the piss. This job was supposed to be advertised in April. And of course, there's all the usual shit that goes hand in hand with working for the NHS.

What I would like is a job with less stress and more pay. Lol. Pls? So OH can find a job with better hours too and we can actually spend more than 90 mins a day with each other during the week.

Wow, work was boring today. I kept nodding off! Had plenty of sleep last night so I'm not sure why I was so tired. And apparently last night when OH got up for work...I was holding his hand in my sleep. LMAO! What the hell? And a couple of week's ago, his alarm went off and I cuddled right up to him and wouldn't let him out of bed! What's happening to me? I am not a cuddly sleeper! *blushes*


OH mentioned at the weekend about what we'll do next year if he gets this bloody field sold. He wants to move to Scotland. It was our fantasy "if we win millions on the lottery" plan, but I think he wants to do it for real. I am totally on board with this, if the finances work out.

Our plan is to buy somewhere we can open a B&B. :) He'd get another job too, at least until we were up and running, and I'd take care of the B&B part. I could so do that. I've been looking at websites about how to set up and keep it running, found a couple of books I want to get, and I'd have to do a bookeeping course or something too I think, but I reckon this is a very real possibility!

Lots of research to do before we take the plunge, but it's very exciting.


I got a Delicious account! OMG, why didn't anyone tell me about this before?? It's awesome! All those times I've been bitching about switching between the lappy and PC and not having my bookmarks...now I will have! I'm in the process of tagging at the moment. :)


Twitter people - if I log onto my page and the entire first page is full of tweets only from you (and not in conversation, JUST from you) I'm afraid I'll be unfollowing you. Nothing personal, it's just bloody annoying. And I've also taken my LJ address off my Twitter profile. Too many weirdos showing up on my LJ! Lol!


I ate chocolate for the first time in two weeks without feeling sick! Yay!


Oh, and I might get jumped on for this....but did anyone else find Pavor Nocturnus a bit boring?

Huh. I've just finished reading my flist, and I was skimming! So much fic I want to read out there tonight. :) I barely looked at Twitter either.

This housework/christmas preparation thing sucks. Leaves no time for fandom! But I'm starting my "try to be a better wife" thing early. Lol. I did the dishes straight after tea tonight.

I know it's a tiny thing, but it's progress in the right direction.

Also, I was 136 words ahead of my target at midnight last night. Need to write 400 words by the end of tomorrow to stay on target.


Now I need to go write some words, do some housework (this place is a mess! Ugh) and write some xmas cards. I'm feeling strangely motivated today. I might even have a go at sorting out my fic masterlist this weekend.
